Christmas Eve Eve

23rd of December and the husband is Conan the barbarian (how dull) whilst i admire my rustic, understated, Norway (because we can't afford nordman this year) and twinkly tree. The presents are thinking about being wrapped and the existing toys are undergoing an 'edit' in readiness for the next intake. (too many toys not a good thing - i know what a humbug i am).

Considering Dave has been wonky and off sick since June i am going to congratulate myself that we are not drowning in debt!

Regarding christmas dinner...... If only my mum (who is cooking this year) knew that the total of food brought so far - bear in mind i am providing the food - is a red cabbage. I've been busy at work ok? so last day tomorrow 9-2pm and i'll put some by before it all goes!

I have been remiss....

How rubbish i've been! This seemed easy .... a little blog every now and again but i never remember or get time! How is that possible, i work less now than i ever have, i'm home with Oscar more and still i run out of time!
I think it must be like money - you just use what you have.
I am going to make a concerted effort to write more.

Here is my lovely new husband (well he was that day)

I just looked at this photo and thought 'what on earth had i spilt on my
dress' - but have realised my screen has dirty spots on - phew

Unexpected Acts of Kindness

We found out today that they do exist....... Thank you lovely Bob & Maree!

Also 1 day left until the most relaxed non planned wedding of the year.... Yes Liz really is going to wear flip-flops. Thank you lovely customers who gave us cards and wished us well. No thank you to the lovely lady who made my freezer look like a jumble sale so i got cold hands sorting it out!

Have another photo to be going on with...

Crabbing in a full underneighbour day out last year. Dave has the task of setting them free!

Here is my new blog.......

This looks like fun, i wonder if it will be!

I am mostly disappointed today as the large package from amazon that arrived was not the entire original series of The Muppet Show, but two giant spacehoppers. Whilst there is no doubt that these are a source of great excitement, i was particularly looking forward to the muppets.
If you are not aquainted with or need reintroducing to the genius that is Mr Hensons Muppets, go to youtube and search for a clip entitled The Electric Banana Sharpener .... and enjoy.

Since i am testing the fine features of Blogger here are a couple of photos..
